VANCOUVER FLAMENCO EVENTS LA CORRALA \| Saturday June 30, 2012 \| 8:00PM La corrala is a traditional Spanish-style communal balcony built around a central courtyard. Characteristic of the Castilian architecture found in working-class neighborhoods of the late 19th and early 20th century, las corralas were also known as a place of social gathering (la tertulia) where families and neighbors would congregate and enjoy casual singing and dancing. In that spirit, Centro Flamenco Rosario is proud to present a special evening of flamenco – showing its diverse rhythms and choreography, with live singers, musicians, and flamenco dancers. Tickets Tickets ($26.50 plus $2.50 theatre improvement fee) are available online at centroflamenco.com, in-person at the Centro Flamenco Studio (Mon-Fri 12-6pm), and at the door (cash only).
