Nanako Aramaki
Nanako started dancing at a young age; her background in ballet as well as piano has helped her flourish in the art of flamenco at Centro Flamenco. In 2001, Nanako made her professional dancing debut with Flamenco Rosario and her solo debut in 2003. With Flamenco Rosario, Nanako has performed throughout the lower mainland, Vernon, and Salt Spring Island.
In 2005, she visited Spain for the Festival de Jerez where she attended workshops with Blanca del Rey and Javier Baron. In 2006, she returned to study extensively at the Cristina Heeren Flamenco Foundation in Seville. During the 9-month advanced dance program, she had the opportunity to study under renowned artists Milagros Menjibar, Rafael Campallo, Ursula Lopez and Carmen Ledesma. Nanako is very eager to teach and share her passion for flamenco at Centro Flamenco and with Flamenco Rosario.
